Leela gains Gurgaon contract

Hotel Leela Venture Ltd today said it has entered into a management contract to operate a five star hotel and luxury apartment hotel at Gurgaon in Haryana.

The company today informed the bombay stock exchange. It currently runs a number of high class hotels, including the Imperial Mark winning Leela Palace in Goa.

The company had recently concluded the acquisition of land at Chennai and Hyderabad for setting up new hotels, and has been keen to exploit the increase of foreign visitors to the region.

The Chennai hotel will have 300 rooms, a commercial complex and an information technology park on its premises, as well as good transport links to the rest of the region.
